Why should I choose Advantage?
Advantage is not the right fit for everyone. We have a VERY unique corporate culture and are VERY selective in the team members we invite to join our team. That said, Advantage is a high energy, high growth organization that is looking for the right people to help take us to the next level. Are you one of those individuals?

What are the characteristics that Advantage looks for in a candidate?
- Integrity and high ethical standards
- A spirit to serve (both your fellow team members and the clients we work for)
- Energy and passion for life
That said, we need people with a diverse range of skills and abilities to help us achieve our goals. We need bright, capable people who embrace change and adapt fast, are initiators, make decisions quickly, possess self-confidence and leadership skills and are lifelong learners.
To achieve our growth aspirations, we also need curious and creative people who don’t acknowledge the existence of a “box” and like to explore new possibilities and opportunities.
Most importantly, we want you to be you. We value differences in thought, style, background and experience because the richness of our diversity is critical to our continued success as an organization.

Must I have graduated from Clemson to be a part of the Advantage family?
No. There is a running joke within our organization that Advantage has a biased preference for men and women with blood that runs orange. Advantage was founded in a Clemson University dorm room and reveres those humble roots. It just so happened that many Clemson Tigers joined the team in its early days. Advantage is an equal opportunity employer, even for University of South Carolina Gamecocks!

Why do you refer to it as the "Advantage family?"
Most folks spend a large part of their life within their career. In fact, if you do the math, it is quite conceivable that many Americans spend just as much time with their co-workers than they do with their actual family.
Advantage values a culture of mutual respect, care, and fun. The men and women you work with at Advantage will become some of your greatest friends, allies, and supporters. To us, we truly are a family.

What are the challenges of working at Advantage?
The challenges are many in a high growth company (so are the rewards), but one we would like to highlight is the need to keep pace with change. We need people who are alert, can anticipate, catch on quickly and refocus rapidly. If you like to work in an easily predictable environment, then Advantage's not for you.
We also challenge you to invest in yourself and reach your full potential. In today's world, the knowledge, expertise and skills you gain over time can quickly become outdated. We need people who take advantage of the training and development opportunities we offer and who thirst for the opportunity to grow through challenging work.

I want the work I do to make a difference. How will I be able to do this at Advantage?
We believe that passion at work is important. It's not just a job; it's your life. You don't want to just do the work and be another number; you want the work to count and be memorable and you want to be valued. Advantage has a strong belief and commitment to giving back to the communities we serve. You will learn more about this should you be invited to participate in our interview process.

I am an experienced professional. How are my years of work experience accounted for and valued by Advantage?
To fuel our growth goals, we have a need to supplement our existing talent pool with experienced people. And our culture embraces the competitive advantage of having a team of people with diverse skills and experiences. So, your previous work experience counts and is highly valued at Advantage. Your previous work experience and the expectations of the open position are key factors in determining your starting salary, and we offer competitive pay and benefits.

What is Advantage's compensation philosophy?
Our fundamental philosophy is "pay for performance," a philosophy we believe fosters excellence. Advantage believes heavily in providing incentives, commissions, and bonuses that reward outstanding performance.

Does Advantage offer continuing education programs?
Yes, this is one of the vital ways we invest, nurture, and grow our people. If you are not a life long learner, you need not come knocking.

Advantage does not directly recruit from my university. Can I still land an opportunity with Advantage?
Yes. Our hiring of new graduates is not limited to the colleges or universities we visit in person.

What's the best way for me to present myself as a candidate for an open position to Advantage?
